AS Monaco has officially completed the deal of the 31-year-old Spaniard star, Cesc Fabregas with a transfer deal of £10m from the English giant Chelsea following a three-and-a-half year deals with the Ligue 1 side after confirming the deal via twitter account on Friday evening.

The Spain International is happy to be reunited with his ex-Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry at the Stade Louis II with the Frenchman being appointed as the manager of the club in October. After making a move to Chelsea in 2014 for a fee of €33m with a contract of three and a half year for the Blues, his contract has come to an end. Fabregas was not happy with the starts this season on the suggestion of his boss Maurizio Sarri. He was counted out of Maurizio’s squad and made only six Premier League appearances this season in his final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge. He had no option to leave the club to get a first team football.

The Spanish star during his career at Stamford Bridge won four major trophies for the Blues which include two Premier league titles in 2015 and 2017 respectively, one FA cup and one League Cup. He scored 22 goals and made 198 appearances for Chelsea.

Fabregas departs England to France with the record of the second highest number of assists 111 in the history of Premier league after his last game in the competition against Southampton with his 350th match appearance. He was also the fastest player to reach 100 Premier League assists, achieving the feat in just 293 matches.
